Prices for editing and proofreading depend on the word count and level of detail. Clare offers bespoke packages you can tailor to suit your work in progress - see below

Manuscript Editing

Clare offers a comprehensive line edit to inc. spelling, grammar, punctuation errors, inconsistencies in tone &/or language, sentence construction, any issues with plot or structure & general feedback on subject and writing style.

Clare provides tracked changes/comments on your MS + a detailed overview/feedback document, together with a free-of-charge Zoom session to discuss feedback/answer any queries.

Bespoke Editing

If you have a particular section of your work in progress you would like to focus on, Clare offers bespoke editing (general editing - novel, novella, short story or essay writing). 

£35 per hour

Proofreading

Clare is happy to proofread and provide corrections. 

£20 per hour 

Mentoring

Clare offers mentoring by email/phone or video call. Discuss your idea/plot, structure, themes, POV and style.

£30 per hour

 

Mentoring/Editing

Clare offers bespoke editing/mentoring, working with you to prepare your novel for submission.
